2002 Update

2002 brings drum chair revolution (again) with Craig Macintyre relocating to LA. Recently playing the drums in fine style is Andy Plaistead. The Steaks are sharing Andy with Dennis Brenhan. Tim and Jamie have been visiting Nashville doin' the biz and playing shows in duo format and as a trio with John Cate of the John Cate Band. During their January trip, Jamie and Tim recorded a live acoustic performance of several tunes (including an impromptu jingle) for XM radio (new satellite radio), hosted by Webb Wilder and broadcast from the Country Music Hall of Fame. The whole band is due to return to Nashville in April. Meanwhile, the boys are working on material for a new record. Expect to hear some great stuff particularly from Mr. Gambino on this.

Also the band has continued to allude to the release of "the Church" CD. At this point this project remains unmixed, but plans are progressing for artwork and mixtime this spring. We'll see.....
